THE REVEREND PROFESOR YUSUFU TURAKI was Provost of Jos ECWA Theological Seminary (JETS); General Secretary of the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA); National Vice-President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN); Language Consultant, International Bible Society (IBS); Executive Secretary of Ethics, Peace and Justice Commission of the Association of the Evangelicals of Africa (AEA) and presently a Professor of Theology and Social Ethics at JETS, Jos, Nigeria and Chief Executive Director of the Yusuf Turaki Foundation. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Ethics (Boston University), a Double Major Masters in Theology and Ethics (Gordon-Conwell), Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Yale Divinity School. He is married to Deborah and they have 4 children. Prof. Turaki is author of several books, book chapters, articles, papers and manuscripts in ethics, theology, missions, development, colonialism, Islam, African contemporary socio-political issues and African Traditional Religion and culture.

Dr Solomon Andria (Andriatsimialomananarivo) heads the Department of Theology at FATEAC in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. He chairs the board of the Africa Bible Commentary and oversaw the French and Malagasy translations. Born in Madagascar, he holds a BSc in Engineering and Electro-mechanics (Université d’Antananarivo, Madagascar), an MTh (FLTE, Vaux-sur-Seine, France), and a PhD in Missiology (UNISA, Pretoria, South Africa). He made a major contribution to the Africa Bible Commentary, serving as one of the New Testament theological editors and overseeing the production of the French edition, the Commentaire Biblique Contemporain.

James Nkansah is a Professor of Theology and Ethics at Africa International University, Nairobi, Kenya, where he has been serving since 2003. Since 2010 he has been the Dean of Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST). Before that he was the Head of Theology Department for eight years. He holds a PhD in Theological Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, USA. He is the Chair of the Theological Commission of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa and the Vice-Chair of the World Evangelical Alliance Theological Commission.
