KEVIN GARY SMITH has been the dean of the South African Theological Seminary (SATS) since 2018. Previously, he was director of studies at SATS. He holds a PhD in classics from Stellenbosch University and a PhD in theology from SATS. At SATS, he has been actively involved in mentoring students at all levels in academic writing, and guiding masters and PhD candidates in designing research projects. Kevin is married to Lyndi and they have one son.
