Demaine J. Solomons is a senior lecturer of systematic theology and social ethics at the University of Western Cape, South Africa. He earned his degrees from the University of the Western Cape and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where he completed his doctoral studies. Demaine’s research encompasses moral philosophy through a Black theological lens, and his work is predicated on the relationship between religion and society.
